What We Do
Initial Consultation
Together we brainstorm ideas with you to create a picture of what you would like to achieve.
How much does a new bathroom or kitchen cost? Most people offer; ‘it depends’. This of course is correct, but a general rule of thumb would be useful right?
We discuss your design options and timelines to give you the best guide we can on price, as well as how long it is likely to take to complete your project.
Site Consultation
We measure the space.
Create an outline draft plan.
Discuss product ideas, materials, and the overall scope of the project.
Consider if building consent will be required.
Check the schemes feasibility and whether it falls within your intended budget.
Full Design & Quotation
We will create a 3D drawing for you, using state of the art CAD software.
Finalise specific product choices, including tiles, flooring, cabinetry etc.
Submit a detailed and itemised quote, which includes every foreseeable element of the project.
Make any final changes. Finalise paperwork and schedule the start date.
Work Begins
Confirm a full project plan, complete with milestones throughout, so that you can plan ahead.
Co-ordination of all trades and schedule deliveries of materials to meet the project timeframe.
Project-manage the entire build and communicate progress and any changes to you, the client.
Handover the finished project so that you can enjoy your beautiful, refreshed space!
This team are brilliant!
Our 2 old bathrooms were demolished (including an outside wall) and rebuilt on schedule in the promised 5 weeks.
Daniel managed the project with precision: all the tradesman turned up exactly when we were told they would, there was no downtime and the end result is just what we wanted. We are delighted.

About Renovation Hawkes Bay
We were The Napier Renovation Co, but we have grown.
Our expansion means we work right across the Hawkes Bay district,
so in spring 2019 we became Renovation Hawkes Bay.
Meet the Team
Daniel Oliver
Founding partner Daniel, and his wife Sioned, immigrated to New Zealand from the UK, with their two daughters, in 2011. Dan started a bathroom and kitchen renovation company in Auckland, which proved to be hugely successful and was sold as a going concern. The family then made the move, which had been on their minds for years, and migrated to Hawkes Bay.
Having landed in Napier, Daniel feels he is now living in the most beautiful place in the world.
Dan’s roles in Renovation Hawkes Bay are multiple, overseeing new business and project management as well as coordinating the day-to-day operations of the company.
Jeremy Evans
Jeremy lives with his young family in the beautiful Tuki Tuki area of Hawkes Bay.
Jeremy has had a successful 18 year long career in the building industry. As a licensed builder he still loves creating new, functional and enjoyable spaces for people, improving their homes and their quality of life.
As a partner in Renovation Hawkes Bay he oversees both construction and project management. Jeremy is a lifelong surfer, so when not working he is usually found pretty close to where the best local surf is at the time.
Ben Hazelwood
Ben is Hawkes Bay born and bred, and currently lives in Te Awanga with his wife and two children. Still no dog, nor a picket fence, but they can’t be far away.
As a licensed builder Ben remains passionate about bringing life back to old and tired houses, renovating and restoring homes across the Bay. His role as a partner includes building, project management and health and safety, and like Jeremy, he prides himself on Renovation Hawkes Bay delivering the highest standard of finish possible, across all our projects.
Annika Bennett
Annika was brought up in Napier, but then had a long career overseas, working in creative management roles across art and design.
Since returning to Hawkes Bay with her son in 2011 she has established herself as an art buyer and interior designer. Annika holds responsibility for many of the design elements in our projects, working closely with clients to ensure we deliver the functional, safe and beautiful renovation they deserve.
Our environment is so key to our happiness and performance, and now, thanks to Annika and her team, I do not have just a bedroom, I have a sanctuary of peace. An oasis to escape to and rewind. I call it my “hotel suite”, 11/10 with five stars. They under-promised and well over-delivered. Truly grateful. ’ Ailne, Napier 2019.
